After conducting an audit of last years visual identity, I honed in on several areas to improve for the 2025 festival season. I wanted to introduce a brighter warm colour palette, increase legibility of important information, place more emphasis on headlining acts and ensure that the design elements were highly customizable + scalable for a variety of applications.
Additionally (and somewhat by accident), I updated the previous festival mascot that was done using a flat illustration style. I found it challenging to incorporate him into marketing materials and using AI software I created numerous versions of “Rudy the Raccoon”. These new versions allowed him to be used in announcement / teaser graphics and even inspired a puppet! (a full scale mascot is in the works).
